Louisiana Began Issuing Titles on Boats August 25, 2009 On Vessels $2,500 and over Purchase Price AND Financed AND First Time Registry of the Boat in the State of Louisiana. (The vessel must meet ALL 3 Requirements). (Any Vessels ALREADY REGISTERED, & not titled or documented are NOT required to obtain a Title).
Documented Boats are not issued titles.
Visitation Period – 90 Days with Valid Out-of-State Registration
